English 19th Century Pine Pot Board Dresser

Sold Sold
  • Description
English Pine Pot Board Dressers were used in kitchens as they held the dishes, cutlery and cooking pots. Pine dressers were considered to be poor mans furniture so they were always painted. Twenty layers of various colors of paint were stripped from this wonderful dresser. We hand waxed this beautiful pine dresser to accent the old pine wood. Food was dressed onto platters and plates on this dresser. Made in the late 1800’s.
