Description
This unusual mahogany cabinet/desk has an adjustable lift-top writing slope with carved gadrooned edge, green gilt-tooled inset leather with removable reading ledge. The carved and beaded frieze has three drawers below with replaced handles. The flat pilasters have stylized capitals topped by large roundels. The right-hand side has a pull-out pen drawer. Plinth base conceals brass casters and is completely free standing.
