Description
Curio or display cabinets are versatile pieces of furniture that offer a creative way to showcase its owner’s interests and style. This unique cabinet not only serves a functional purpose, but thanks to its unique characteristics, it is a charming and stylish addition to any space.
A glass display cabinet can transform an entire room. A glass display cabinet gives the perfect opportunity to put a collection on display. Books, cards, figurines, art, liquor, and an infinite amount of other trinkets can be put on display in a sophisticated, stylish manner, especially in open designs such as this European cabinet. The solid wooden structure has subtle decorative elements paired with simpler solutions like the straight face frame and top. European cabinetmakers and designers created versatile and functional models from solid wood. This cabinet is an exemplary European 20th century design, with a single shelf in the middle. Dividing the space in two, the shelf makes the design perfect to display anything as the sides are made of glass. This creates a classic look, while the open front allows the most eye-catching detail to stand out: the orange velvet inlay. Delicate objects can be safely stored and displayed on the soft velvet, and visually it creates an accent that draws the eye. The lower part is equally enticing with four thin, Marlborough-reminiscent legs and carved details.
The display cabinet style is designed for displaying curios, which are simply collections and treasured items. With its beautiful wood surfaces and velvet accent shelf, this cabinet is sure to bring the coveted vintage charm into any space.
