French 18th Century Carved Oak Commode
-
Description
A handsome and impressive French commode from the 1780’s. Made of solid oak, this case piece is simply designed from the Louis XVI style. The drawers have intricately hand carved designs of birds and flowers with more recent drawer pulls. All joints are tightened and cleaned. The drawers function properly and slide with ease. There are no keys and locks are no longer in working condition. We have polished this antique with a French paste wax and cleaned the drawer interiors. Please be sure to look at the detailed images.
