An impressive walnut bibliothèque, in the Louis Philippe style, from France, c.1880’s. This exceptional case piece stands right at 8? tall and can separate into two bodies for easier transport. The upper body is the bookcase. It is glass-front, with large doors that close before an interior that perfect for displaying your library of books and/or decorative objects. The upper interior is outfitted with three finished shelves that are adjustable. The lower body facilitates storage of larger items that can be hidden from sight. Here, two large, panel doors lock before a single fixed shelf. Both the upper and lower bodies have canted corners. One key. -
