French 19th Century Solid Oak Farm Table
-
Description
Dimensions: 30 ⅜” H x 78 ¾” W x 31 ⅜” D
An astounding 19th century French oak farm table of robust proportions to anchor a dining room or workspace. The thick plank top (nearly three inches) reveals a series of “honest repairs” in geometric patches interrupting the natural flow of the grain. Much like a Parsons table, the top and solid legs are proportionate, making a clean, linear profile surprisingly more modern than the 1800s time period. An H-form stretcher bracing the legs leaves plenty of room to host six guests comfortably. Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, this antique farm table is ready to join your interior. Be sure to view the detailed images to see the current condition.
