Description
A quaint, French painted commode, c. 1850. The faux marble, painted wood top sits over a traditional Louis Philippe-style apron with a locking drawer. The body of this commode has three additional drawers, all with working locks. A single key works all locks and acts as the pull for each drawer. The whole sits on a plinth-style lower apron with shaped feet.
