French 19th Century mahogany travel writing desk
French, 19th Century
Height 94cm, width 53cm, depth 18cm
This fine and delicate desk exhibits a striking level of craftsmanship. The reverse of the desk features a rectangular screen with pink floral material, and the desk features a drop down front lined with green leather, and within features two drawers and two open compartments. The top of the desk features an ormolu pierced gallery, and the desk stands on four tall, slender legs with a lower stand. -
