France Circa 1930 -1940.
This stylish sideboard has a stepped oblong top with lobed corners having a central reserve inlaid with parquetry lozenge trellis enclosed by stringing, cross banding and oak boarder, over a panelled front with four moulded and fielded panelled doors having central gilt bronze motif and retaining the original keys. The two central doors opening to reveal interior drawers with shelved cupboards flanking to either side.
The whole raised on a column plinth to give the illusion of a floating buffet which stands effortlessly chic and timeless.
