Georgian Mahogany Chest of Drawers or Commode, Circa 1790

Description
The rectangular top of the Georgian chest or commode has a molded edge above two short and three graduated drawers. It has unusual original brass swan neck handles with pierced oval back plates and brass shield-shaped escutcheons. It is raised on tall shaped bracket feet and has a beautiful soft warm color and patina. It retains the original key.
