    Vintage Danish designed Henry Walter Klein sideboard in Brazilian Rosewood for Bramin. A magnificent, rare, Danish designed sideboard by H.W. Klein featuring two large sliding doors that open to reveal two bays outfitted with a fitted rosewood interior and rests over a graceful sculpted base. This spectacular rosewood sideboard is finished with a slip-matched veneer on the top, sides and door fronts and includes a finished back in a contrasting light wood. The two sliding doors open to showcase a fitted rosewood veneer interior. The left door slides to reveal a rosewood adjustable height self. The right door opens to reveal a center divide with an adjustable height shelf to the left and two felt lined drawers above a lower adjustable shelf. The simple shaped sideboard rests gracefully in a solid rosewood linear base with tapered and sculpted rosewood front legs that gently project above the base and caress the cabinet. This beautiful cabinet with its finished back allows the sideboard to float freely in an open floor plan making it suitable for a multitude of interior applications. Manufactures label affixed to back panel (Design Bramin made in Denmark).
    Condition Report: Very good vintage condition with minimal wear. Overall, this sideboard is in good vintage condition, with very few signs of wear from use. Bramin label affixed to back panel.

    Born in Norway in 1919, Henry Walter (H.W.) Klein was a Norwegian interior designer, cabinetmaker, and furniture designer. Klein is best known for his handcrafted teak wood chairs, tables, and sideboards, which are characteristic of the postwar Danish modern style. This piece is a well-known design that is well documented in general design literature.
