Description
This stunning Mid-Century Modern high chest was realized by the legendary design firm, Kittinger, in the United States, circa 1950. It offers a rectilinear body with faceted pulls; and four drawers- offering a wealth of storage possibilities. The top drawer has three dividers as well as fluted detailing circumscribing its perimeter. The piece has been finished in a gorgeous silver cerused oak accentuating the natural woodgrain in silver against a gray background. With its clean modernist lines, monochromatic palate and beautiful attention to detail, this piece is as versatile as it is aesthetically compelling blending perfectly with any style of interior from classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly restored to mint condition. It retains its original label reading "Kittinger" on the inside of the drawer.
