Signed Louis Majorelle Art Deco cerused oak sideboard 1920s
-
Description
This is an attractive and unique sideboard stamped by Louis Majorelle and produced by les Ateliers Majorelle in the early 1920s in Nancy. It features a smooth and geometrical cerused oak build with five drawers and two doors. The sideboard was made at the really early Art Deco period, when Louis Majorelle started to embrace the new geometrical shapes of the Art Deco movement right after World War I. Found in very good vintage condition, the piece is quite rare, unique, and feels quite modern considering this is an 100 years old piece. Sure to be an intriguing focal point for any interior.
