Description
This ebonized bronze-mounted chest portrays the Chateau de Versailles in its finest. The gilt gold adds dimension and beauty to its linear and rectangular elements, the combination of curves and bows complete this magnificently fine piece. Three smaller drawers atop two bottom larger drawers, the bottom drawers are adorned with detailed curved pulls. The top three with descriptively carved knobs, key mounts adorn all three. Elements of Louis XVI in every detail. Manner of Maison Jansen. Mirror not included.
