A very unique two-drawer commode, circa 1940s, thoroughly creme peinte and parcel gilded, the rectangular beveled top over a conforming case of two drawers, elegantly carved medallion, wreath, and floral patera decorated with ormolu and gilded banding, flanked by fluted uprights, standing on fluted squared legs.
