An oak "Bodart" Impressed Bombay country French commode, chest or dresser having oak secondarily wood. The large and impressive manly Louis XV form with full bombe fashion having bronze pulls.
Jacques Bodart was one of America's premier furniture manufactures. The pieces were bench-made and marketed to the upper middle class and rich. Their product was sold through high end stores and designers. -
