    On later stands, each fitted with a pair of cabinet doors with bronze hardware opening to shelves. Loose translation of the calligraphy across the four doors reads:
    "Going tens of miles in Jiangnan in the cold, Dawn wind, remains of moon, pretty flowers, Morning light pass on top of the palace, sudden west wind blows in to the palace, poems are made…. "
    Cabinets can be taken off the stands to be bedside cabinets.
