Danish Mid-Century Modern Teak Display Cabinet Bookshelf by Skovby

Description
A beautifully built and simply conceived lighted display cabinet by Skovby Møbelfabrik A/S and manufactured by Kontrol, it features a pair of glass doors and eight adjustable glass shelves (three replaced) and four lit sections. These sections are divided by two fixed horizontal wood shelves and a vertically down the center. It is executed with mellow teak veneers and molded solid teak in the door frame and moldings. The cabinet retains the original Skovby label on the back.
Measurements: 70 5/8" H x 39" W x 15" D
Condition Report:
Three replaced shelves (obvious with a frosted ground edge and no plate groove), other shelves with some scuffs/scratches. Small dent abrasion to the crest molding on upper left, minor veneer chips here and there. Some minor color variation. Electric functioning in the shop, but we always recommend clients have original wiring professionally inspected. -
