    Reference: For a similar case with the same fan and panels but not a bombe case, see the Israel Sack advertisement in The Magazine Antiques, January 1950. The bombe base is based on the illustration in Thomas Chippendale’s The Gentleman & Cabinet-Maker’s Director, No. CLXIII.
