Description
Stunning very rare Italian Sideboard and/or chest of drawers, very well designed by Vittorio Dassi in the 1950s.
All items designed and manufactured by Vittorio Dassi are always stylish and charming, and the uniqueness of this piece is given by its sculptural shape design, in addition to the presence of a suspended drawer can be opened with a drop-leaf door, very well finished in front with superb slatted details even called 'grissinatura'.
The structure is very solid and stable, supported by metal legs finished with adjustable brass feet, and is crafted with a gorgeous material like as warm teakwood.
If the 4 legs are removed, this Sideboard can also be suspended on the wall as its backrest is already prepared for this.
It’s a versatile item of midcentury Italian design ready to use, and it would be a great addition to any modern interior decor, for home as well as office.
It’s in very good conditions of the period as the images show, with slight signs of wear consistent with age and gentle use. -
