Creation Date Late 18th Century
Description Probably New York, c. 1795-1810. The form of this sideboard is typically found in New York. The serpentine front single board mahogany top conforms to the center of the case which has two drawers above two doors which are inset. The ovolo sides are also inset with a drawer above a door. The case is supported by tapered legs with inlaid bell flowers and cuffs below inlaid oval panels of flowers. The entire case is adorned with figured mahogany veneer, quarter fan inlay patterns surrounded by banding and line inlay.
