Ca. 1820-1830.
Eastern white pine with polychrome painted surface
Condition: Excellent condition, original paint decorated surface with applied varnish.
This superb sponge-paint decorated blanket chest has a lift-top with a beveled edge above two long drawers supported by boot-jack ends and an applied shaped bracket base. -
