Description
Elegant (possibly French) French Empire bureau-plat or partners desk, The top, inlaid with a center-star-motive and small decorations on each corner, above five drawers, the middle one opening from the front only, the flanking side drawers accessible on both sides, ormolu mounts. Corners adorned with caryatid figures, the legs ending in stylized paw-feet.
