Condition | The paint is slightly worn. The top may have been paint decorated originally, although the stripes are bold and there is no evidence of paint. It likely also had a sewing bag support. | ||||||||||||

Description | An excellent display of paint decoration and Sheraton design, this two-drawer sewing stand is tiger maple with bold stripes upon the rounded corner top over painted landscapes and leaf and flower borders upon each of the sides of the stand with two molded lip drawers with original escutcheons and wooden knobs over turned legs with painted flower and leaf decoration spiraling along tapered legs terminating in peg feet. | ||||||||||||
