Angelo Lelii for Arredoluce opaline glass brass metal chandelier 1958

$ 5,500
  • Description
    This white opaline glass, brass, and metal chandelier was designed by Angelo Lelii for Arredoluce in 1958. Featuring a meticulously crafted abstract structure made from curved brass rods surrounding the opaline glass shade, this luminaire is a smaller variation of Lelii's iconic Medusa chandelier. The matte finish of the opaline glass provides a warm, diffuse light that is captured by the brass, elegantly highlighting the ensemble. This piece has been fully restored, electrified, and is in great condition.

    Angelo Lelii (1911-1979) was an Italian designer celebrated for his pioneering work in lighting design. Founding Arredoluce in 1947, Lelii collaborated with renowned designers like Franco Albini and Achille and Pier Castiglioni to produce avant-garde lighting collections. His minimalist forms, inspired by new technologies, continue to inspire designers globally, solidifying his legacy as a visionary in the field.
