This beautiful pair of Maison Baguès end tables was created with solid bamboo shaped brass and beautiful raspberry red lacquer tops in the early 1960s. The lacquered tops are timeless and smooth, while the brass bamboo feet and body provide an imaginative base for the piece. Its clean design is typical of the French neoclassical work of Maison Baguès and Maison Jansen in the 1950s and 1960s, and offers a chic, sophisticated look, simple, yet with plenty of amazing details. Fully restored, and newly lacquered, with a beautiful brass patina, these pieces are in an amazing condition.
