1950s Gino Sarfatti model #155 ceiling lamp for Arteluce.
A perforated brass dome on a white painted metal curved plate with brass detail on the edge. An extremely attractively scaled ceiling or wall light of incomparably refined design. Arteluce was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the midcentury era, with Sarfatti their superstar. His designs have been long sought after by collectors in the know.
