Bertil Brisborg pendant for Nordiska

Description
A very rare and large (50 cm diameter) pendant lamp by Bertil Brisborg for Nordiska Kompaniet. The model '31234' lamp is made of an opaline glass shade by Orrefors, resting on a brass frame with three arms. Inside it has a round, opaline white glass diffuser.
Shade height is 34 cm / 13.4 inch. Total drop is 92 cm / 36 inch.
Bertil Brisborg (1910?1993) was a Swedish architect and designer. For over 30 years, he was the chief architect for Nordiska’s lighting department and he designed many lamps for the company. -
