A large circa 1670 Dutch delft octagonal baluster form vase having all-over underglaze blue Ming-style chinoiserie landscape and figural designs on bluish-white body converted for use as a table lamp with patinated brass fittings and black-painted wood base. Lamp body measures 17".

Vase with old cosmetic touch-ups to minor areas of glaze-loss; drilled for electricity circa 1940 and on original bespoke base with age-related finish wear; presents beautifully.
