This sculpture floor lamp is entirely customizable to your personalization, in colors and playful glass elements, frosted on reverse, highlighted with a decor of ethnic geometric signs, represented here in lime green, hunter green, light blue, turquoise. It is composed of a succession of 5 double discs in 3 different sizes, each pair with LED illumination in between, supported by a black lacquer metal stem and sturdy round base. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the stacked glass elements feature intriguing patterns and textures that come alive when illuminated. Leo De Carlo is born in Venice in 1972. He graduated in Industrial Design at the Milan Polytechnic University. He worked in Paris with Philippe Starck and is fascinated by the possibilities of expressing traditional craftsmanship in a contemporary vision.
The son of antique dealers specialized in Venetian glass Art Collections, De Carlo comes back to Italy to re-elaborate craft traditions, in particular glass, through his personal creative universe, offering a diverse, playful cultural vision of traditional medium. Leo De Carlo paticipates in prestigious exhibitions and collaborates with well-know brands in the production of new innovative designs.
