Description
Our newGROWTH series is always unique, made to order in collaboration with our clients. Occasionally Christopher Poehlmann creates one-off prototypes when embarking on a new tangent, as proof of concept, or as a showcase item for a trade show. This piece was all of these combined: a new direction for the newGROWTH series that was more Art Nouveau inspired, an experiment in making a double branch fixture that in effect is two newGROWTH fixtures combined as one, and a showpiece for the last exhibitions he staged at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in NYC after 27 consecutive years as an exhibitor.
This fixture is hand fabricated from aluminum, cut, formed, welded and carved. It has been finished in our Antique Bronze, so it looks like it weighs 100's of pounds when in fact it is a mere 20 pounds. Lamping is all e12 sockets suitable for any candle base bulb desired. And this rare and special fixture is finished with our hand blown clear textured glass globes that our glass shop creates from 100% recycled glass. Each globe is approximately 7" diameter.
This fixture hangs from a single 1/16" site adjustable wire rope support cable with a loose power cord. Matching ceiling canopy and all hardware is included.
UL listed, suitable for residential, commercial or hospitality. -
