Description
Pair of newGROWTH wall sconces designed and built by Christopher Poehlmann for CP Lighting. Price is for each wall sconce.
The newGROWTH series originated from a site specific commission in Naples FL in 2004. Since then, Poehlmann has consistently developed new forms in this ongoing series of on-off light fixtures both as prototypes to show proof of concept and as collaborations with trade clients to fit their specific projects needs. Wall sconces have played a supporting role in the repertoire of this studio line compared to the quantity of chandeliers and pendants produced over the past two decades. However that does not diminish the importance of the wall light as a significant sculptural element in any environment. This new pair in particular are unique in that they make use of Poehlmann's signature stylized leaf form as a partial shade to the exposed bulbs and also the use of this lovely Pea Soup Green paint finish that truly makes these sconces into statement pieces. Available singularly or as a pair. They are similar in size and form but each are obviously unique just as if Mother Nature intended it. Please note that these fixtures can also be ceiling mounted as flush mounts if preferred. They are UL listed and suitable for residential, commercial and hospitality.
CP Lighting is always happy to work with you on custom commission requests based loosely or directly on any of our newGROWTH catalog. These fixtures can easily be re-colored to suit if desired or we can redesign to fit your specific size parameters. We have built wall lights from 12" H to 9' tall that "grow" up a wall and over the ceiling. Anything goes, please do not be afraid to ask! -
