Description
Large 18th century Dutch Delft ribbed octagonal "garlic-head" form vase having hand-painted blue and white basket and ribbon motifs in panels and all-over foliate designs. Originally converted to a table lamp, circa 1930; newly rewired with solid brass fittings and twisted silk cord on bespoke painted wood base. Height of vase alone measures 19".

Vase in superb condition for age with very minor glaze loses at extremities typical of antique tin-glazed wares.
