Description
Max Ingrand (1908-1969) for Fontana Arte
An exquisite and important pair of sconces by Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte. Significant conical shades, in satin glass with a delicately beveled edge, are supported by projecting trident mounts in polished brass. Suspended from the mount is an exceptional three-dimensional teardrop finial in remarkably thick, beautifully curved crystal. Models of perfectly calibrated grace and impeccable craftsmanship, these sconces are among Max Ingrand’s loveliest works.
