French 1940s Gilt Iron Modern Neoclassical 'Sunburst' Flush Mount or Pendant

Description
Elegant French gilt wrought iron flush mount fixture or pendant in the modern neoclassical spirit with alernating rows tapered spikes emanating from a central curved disc. Lighting elements are contained within the disc that shoot light upwards to the ceiling and down the walls. The piece reflects both sober modern and Classic sensibilities as the piece resembles a starburst or sunburst.
This piece can be suspended as a pendant via a stem. -
