French 19th Century Green Glass Demijohn Lamp

A wonderful antique green-glass wine keg, or “demijohn”, that has recently been made into a fantastic table lamp. Once used to store and transport wine, today this large green bottle provides the base for a most attractive light fixture. The blown glass is perfectly imperfect, with visible bubbles in the wavy glass. The lamp comes with a large, glossed white paper shade which is held in place with a rubbed brass ball finial. Wired for US.
