This striking three arm pendant light was designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson in the 1960s. This particularly rare model was numbered T-608 and is part of his iconic 'Fringe' series produced by his own company Hans-Agne Jakobson AB in Markaryd, Sweden.
This striking design consists of a brass fixture with three individual arms attached to a cylinder shaped centre. Each arm with a circular brass shade with four layers of sand/beige colored fringes. The interior of each shade with a perforated white painted metal structure completed by a brass bottom ring. The perforated shades and the layers of fringes distribute a warm, muted light - the kind of muted lighting that Jakobsson became famous for.
The lamp is labeled with the manufacturers sticker on the interior of the cylinder shaped brass ceiling cup. The lamp is in overall very good, original condition.
