1950s Finnish perforated brass table lamp attributed to Paavo Tynell. An elegant design executed in perforated brass. Unmarked but highly characteristic of Tynell's work for Idman during the midcentury era.
The undisputed master of Finnish lighting design, the ultra refined work of Paavo Tynell has become increasingly coveted and highly valued amongst collectors of Scandinavian modernism.
Professionally rewired for US electrical, accommodates 2x 60w equivalent medium base e26 bulbs (lower with incandescent). New cord and period styled US wall plug.
Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate. New black cloth cord, US wall plug. Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, bends, losses and patination as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. -
