Description
An iconic and early vintage Isamu Noguchi Akari floor lamp, 55d shade on bb3 base, made with Bamboo and enameled steel with a paper shade.
The 55d paper shade was purchased but rarely used, still in original brown paper packaging. Overall, it is in excellent condition for its age, with virtually no tears or stain. Early Model Sun and Moon stamp red logo, Japan stamp. The BB3 base is in good condition, some split on the bamboo base but structurally not a concern. Good patina on the base.
Overall it is an exceptional piece in excellent condition, come original packaging for the shade, Ready to be used or store away to collect. -
