Description
A Finnish design flushmount model ES 1900 manufactured by Itsu in Finland in the 1950s. Vintage ceiling lamps like this one were made by a few different companies in 1950s in Finland. Valinte, Itsu, Taito, Idman and Orno were some of the leading lighting manufacturers in mid-century Finland. This lamp is a prime example of Finnish mid century design, simple, functional, and elegant, especially with low ceilings. As the lamp is in brass and white fabric, it's easy to incorporate into different interiors. The lamp is stamped by the manufacturer "Itsu".

The item is in good condition, and the brass parts have a nice patina. The upholstery for the shade was redone.
