Rare Organic Table Lamp Model 2430/2 in Brass & Marble, Valinte Finland 1950s

A beautiful and very rare Mid-Century Modern table lamp, model 2430/2 "marm." (marble), manufactured in Finland by Valinte during the 1950s. This lamp features two light sources carried on gracefully curved branch-like arms of different heights, creating an organic and sculptural feel that is further emphasized by its substantial earthy marble base.

Its sizable scale allows it to function as a striking decorative object as much as a functional ambient light source. Crafted with quality standards, the lamp remains in very good condition, exhibiting a beautiful, soft patina on all brass components. It is stamped "Valinte" on the bottom, identifying the esteemed Finnish manufacturer known for its exceptional lighting fixtures produced from the 1950s through the 1970s. This specific model is documented in the company's 1954 catalogue, please refer to picture. The original model seems to have originated in Sweden in the 1940s by Erik Hanson & Co.
