This elegant and geometrically dynamic Mid-Century Modernist Hand-Blown Murano Glass Camer Flushmount Chandelier W/ Brass Fittings originates from Italy, Circa 1970. Featuring an expansive sputnik form composition composed of transparent hand-blown triedre glass elements emerging from the center of the piece, diffusing the light of the bulbs and stimulating the senes with lovely detailing and reflections. The central housing is supported by a cylindrical disk of polished brass, adding an alluring and warm material quality to the chandelier. A lovely piece and an excellent example of the sleek geometry and balanced proportions of Mid-Century Chandeliers, this fixture will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal interiors. Newly rewired to American Standards, and in Excellent Vintage Condition. Accommodates 6 candelabra based bulbs offering up to 360 watts of light.
