Description
This stunning pair of Art Deco revival skyscraper style sconces were realized in the United States circa 1980. Resembling traditional fans, they are composed of streamlined polished chrome rhombus forms that descend from the center separated by three stacked glass forms inserted perpendicular to the direction of the lustrous striated chrome fronts. With their dynamic silhouette and deft appropriation of Art Deco motifs from a new modernist perspective, these sconces are sure to delight enthusiasts of Art Deco design but also great modernist design in general. They would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Deco to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent vintage condition.
