Innovative suspension lamp with two glass diffusers and a metallic structure around 1960 for Venini glass by Paolo Caliari .The total height of the suspension lamp, including the glass diffuser and the brass hanging mount, is 140 cm. The diameter of the glass diffusor is 40cm and the height 25 Paolo Caliari, (Genoa, 1932 - Monte Carlo, 2014) son of Antonio Caliari, a founder of the Ca-Venini store, was a prominent Italian designer. Entering the family business at an early age, he contributed to innovative projects, including a notable 1960s collaboration with Venini on blown glass suspension lamps. Beyond lighting, Caliari was instrumental in modern yacht interior design, starting in 1963, and played a key role in serial furniture production for brands like Cassina. His work combined craftsmanship with cutting-edge design, leaving a lasting mark on Italian design history.
