A majestic large harlequin design table lamp made in Italy, circa 1955.

This stunning lamp has a wonderful glaze in gold and teal on a white background in an unusual crackle glaze.

The harlequin design give it a futurested look, I saw this kind of ceramic many years ago in a vase that was one third the size of this lamp.

The lamp rests on a brass and black ebonized base which has just been rewired.
