Description
1950s Bruno Gatta Brass and Opaline Glass Pendant for Stilnovo. A quintessentially 1950s Italian design executed in matte finish opaline glass with attractively patinated sculptural brass hardware. A highly functional light sculpture of incomparable refinement.
Stilnovo was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the midcentury era. Their designs have been long sought after discerning collectors.
Price is per item. 1 lamp available.
Each lamp accommodates 1x 60W equivalent candelabra base (e12) LED bulb (LED only). Professionally rewired for US electrical with new black cloth cord and custom period-style 4.5" brass ceiling canopy added for mounting over standard US j-box. Adjustable 60" drop. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate.
Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks, patina, and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. Please note that only one representative example is featured in the listing images, but both lamps in similarly good condition and present well as a set. Some differences from lamp to lamp. Please note that one of the lamps has a chip in the edge of the glass shade which is not visible once the lamp is assembled (underneath the brass top). Additional photos available upon request. -
