Large 1950s glass and brass suspension light attributed to Stilnovo. A quintessentially 1950s Italian design executed in sculptural shaped opaline glass, brass decorative screws, 40" black cloth cord and period styled brass canopy for mounting over a standard American J-box. A highly functional and refined suspension light of attractive scale and incomparable refinement. Unmarked.

Stilnovo was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the midcentury era. Their designs have been long sought after by collectors in the know.

Professionally rewired for US electrical but not UL listed. Recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate. Rewired for 1x medium base 100 watt max LED bulb (lower with incandescent); custom period styled canopy added for compatibility with US electrical J-box; some losses, patination, bends and scuffs as largely shown in photos and noted only for accuracy
