Tommi Parzinger table lamps, Chinese cloisonné, enameled brass, signed. Parzinger selected these rich blue/purple 19th Century cloisonné brass baluster vases to be presented as lamps in the Ocean, New Jersey home of Nathan and Janet Appleman in 1956. Nathan Appleman was an oilman/philanthropist and his home was the most important commission of Parzinger's legendary design career. Parzinger added the white lacquered wood caps to the tops and the square bases. Both cloisonné vases have old import labels. The wood bases are signed with an impressed "Parzinger Originals" mark on the undersides. We have carefully restored the white lacquer parts and replaced the old brass lamp parts with new high quality brass and silk cords.
