A charming late 18th century Louis XVI giltwood mirror, richly carved and crowned with an exquisite floral garland and a central oval medallion featuring a delicately painted cherub. The gilded frame is adorned with classical neoclassical motifs, laurel leaves, pinecones, and ribbon scrolls, emblematic of the Louis XVI period’s refined aesthetic. The original mercury glass displays a beautiful, time-softened reflection, while the back shows hand-hewn wood panels and aged patina consistent with the mirror’s era.
