18th Century Spanish Colonial Carved, Painted and Gilt Mirror (of likely Peruvian origin). The rectangular frame carved with spontaneous exuberance and decorated with vibrant colors and gilt accents open carved scrolls and stylized flowers adorn the frame all around. The center of the top is inset with an attachment of a charming putto head, possibly symbolizing an angel.
